Five Fonts That Are Not Meant for Business

Designing certain materials for business purposes could be sensitive. There must be careful selection of elements to ensure that the output will streamline a company’s set of objectives. Besides colors, shapes, or vector itself to use for a corporate design, fonts must be given much attention as well. Relatively, there are typefaces that will never be the right choices for business.

Impact. You may already disagree with this since the font is striking and has been used by those who want to capture attention. Nonetheless, if you would establish a contemporary artwork, the font will be too amateur. It is overly concentrated at the same time.

Comic Sans. By and large, this font will never be applicable if you want to show a professional image to your audience. Literally, it appears too childish for brochures, flyers, or any media you need for marketing.

Papyrus. The typeface was made out of textured paper and calligraphy pen by an illustrator and designer named Chris Costello. Its popularity made it a rough-cut at present. It is no longer the font that will keep customers or sales coming. The 1983-released font may be used for movies, but no longer in business in general.

Arial. Unexpectedly, this standard font will never be good for your company. Why? It could be seen everywhere. It is somehow a parasite that could not even be controlled. By using the font, you may already lose the sense of distinction.

Bradley Hand. There is a sole reason why you should not use this – it looks cheap, and you do not want your company to appear such way. If previously, script-style typefaces are considered intricate and attractive, this is not the same case today for it became exasperating.

Fortunately, no matter how painful it could be to let go of these well-loved fonts for your firm, there are substitutes available today. In actuality, there are tons of new typefaces that will best accompany your business to success.
